Cookie policy
Last updated 15 October 2026
Ringmark keeps only what it needs to work: no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and no other company’s cookies. So there’s nothing to ask permission for, and no cookie banner.
Cookies
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| rm_s | Keeps you signed in. | Until you sign out, or 180 days without use |
| rm_o | The other accounts signed in on this phone, for switching between businesses. | The same |
| sidebar_state | Remembers whether the side menu is open on a computer. | 7 days |
Storage in your browser
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| rm_theme | Light or dark, as you chose. | Until you change it |
| rm_later_… | When you closed a tip, so it stays away for a week. | 7 days |
| rm_toast | A one-time message after switching accounts. | Removed at once |
| Offline copy | The app’s own files, so it opens fast and works from the home screen. | Replaced with each update |
The admin page (for Ringmark only) keeps its key in the tab until you close it.
Paying through Razorpay
When you pay a bill through Razorpay, you’re on Razorpay’s own page, which may use its own cookies for security and fraud checks. See Razorpay’s privacy policy.
Removing them
Signing out removes the sign-in cookie. Your browser’s settings can clear the rest. Ringmark then asks you to sign in again, and forgets your light or dark choice.
